The first episodes of the reboot of “Gossip Girl” are now available on the HBO Max streaming platform, but the production does not seem to have pleased critics much.
With an approval rating of just 34% on Rotten Tomatoes, the sequel series has come under heavy criticism for its quality, being viewed by the general consensus as “an ambitious flashback” that does not maintain its pomp.
In addition, specialist critics still question the fact that the cast has little personality, in a drama that does not seem to have a guide.
