Godzilla vs Kong Special | Which films to watch to understand the clash of the Titans?



Scheduled to depart in March 2020, Godzilla vs. Kong suffered a launch delay in 2019 for reshoots, given the box office failure that is Godzilla 2: King of the Monsters (2019).

Released in 2014, MonsterVerse is a Legendary Pictures co-production with Warner and Toho (in the Godzilla films). This partnership between the United States, Japan, China and Mexico aimed to revive the great Kaijus (giant monsters) films in theaters. Kong: Skull Island (2017)

Godzilla (2014)

Ring of Fire: The Uprising (2018)

With John Boyega, the Finnish Star Wars, Circle of Fire: The Uprising is a disaster. Looking like a renegade brother from the second Transformers trilogy, everything in the movie is generic and uninspired. In the plot, years after the events of the first film, the Jaeger program has been reactivated and new recruits are training. In this, the Kaijus find a way back to Earth. And, well, that’s it. Between a bunch of CGI and another, the movie even tries to conjure up a new idea, but it’s executed so poorly that it becomes a shame.
