‘God is a bullet’: Jamie Foxx and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau to star in new action thriller

According to Deadline, Jamie Foxx (“Power”) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (“Game of Thrones”) will star in the new action thriller titled “God is a Bullet”.

Directed by Nick Cassevetes (“Diary of a Passion“), the story centers on a man who infiltrates a satanic cult responsible for the death of his ex-wife and the kidnapping of his daughter.

Coster-Waldau will give life to Deputy Detective Bob Hightower, who finds his ex-wife murdered and his daughter kidnapped by a satanic cult. Frustrated by the police investigations, he leaves the police, gets tattooed several times and infiltrates the group to track down the leader with the help of the only escaped victim.

Foxx will play a supporting role in O Barqueiro. Andrew Dice Clay, Januar Jones and Maika Monroe complete the cast.

Cassavetes is also responsible for the screenplay, adapted from the Boston novel of the same name, Teran.

Michael Mendelsohn, Don Allen, Kim H. Winther and Jim Steele enter as producers.

Pre-production of the film has already started in Mexico City, with filming scheduled for May 24, 2021.
