Giancarlo Esposito Hints ‘X-Men’ May Be Coming Soon To Marvel Studios

Ever since Walt Disney Studios purchased Fox (now called 20th Century Studios) and acquired the rights to the “X-Men” franchise, there have been many rumors that acclaimed actor Giancarlo Esposito (“Breaking Bad,” ” The Mandalorian”) would be part of the superhero pantheon like Charles Xavier or Erik Lensherr.

Esposito, who was at Comic-Con Chile during a presentation, gave hope to fans who want to see the actor as Professor Xavier in a future Marvel Studios ‘X-Men’ movie – Kevin Feige himself also hinted about this.

A fan came to ask the actor to autograph a Professor Xavier collectible during the event panel, and Esposito signed the Funko Pop! with a smile on his face, and simply told the fan: “See you on the big screen”. In other words, we almost have the affirmation of the actor as an iconic character of Marvel.

No official note has yet been released on this, but several fans are already nailing the actor’s casting as the lead of the X-Men.
