An entire building was evacuated following the fire that developed in the apartment of the former GF Vip competitor. Here’s who he is and his first statements after firefighters put out the flames.
On October 21, around 12:00 p.m., a fire broke out in the apartment of a former GF Vip competitor. There is no mention of just any building: there is a whole documentary, entitled “Cinema Skyscraper”, which celebrates it. Director and tenant Marco Bertozzi released it in 2017 after more than ten years of filming.
The Rimini skyscraper, built between 1957 and 1959 on a project by architect Raoul Puhali, is a true emblem of the city. It is spread over twenty-seven floors, and has a maximum capacity of four hundred people. It was built in an area of period villas and is visible from most of the Riviera Romagnola.
The fire at the apartment of the former GF Vip: “A disaster”
The images of the Rimini skyscraper fire frightened the citizens, who recorded numerous videos to immortalize what was happening. The firefighters arrived quickly, deploying a large number of vehicles and men. Indeed, two tank trucks and eleven units arrived on site. 118 also arrived on site.
Help arrived as a thick column of black smoke began to envelope the building, indicating that plastic was burning. Fortunately, we quickly realized that the flames only came from one apartment, and remained confined near the room where the combustion had started.
“A case that I was not there”: the reconstruction of Denis Dosio
Denis Dosio confirmed the hypothesis of RaiNews, explaining that everything probably started from a faulty socket which would have short-circuited. The entire “living room” of the apartment was reportedly completely destroyed by the flames. There was also reportedly extensive damage to other rooms, which needed refurbishment after his family recently inherited ownership of the Rimini skyscraper.
Here is the tweet with which the firefighters of Rimini announced the fire in Denis Dosio’s apartment:
#Rimini, flames on the 14th floor of the skyscraper, #fire confined to a single apartment: the entire building evacuated as a precaution, two teams of #vigilidelfuoco in action from 12:20 p.m., extinguishing operations in progress [#21ottobre 13:15] pic.twitter.com/ACP5HUKQOD
