In the Hawkeye plot, Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) just wants to get home in time to enjoy the Christmas vacation when he has to unravel such a high threat as the Avengers.

Along the way, he’ll call upon young archery Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), a promising, fiery and savage apprentice, who will lead to an adventure packed with action and comedy.

In an interview with Games Radar, directors Amber Templemore-Finlayson and Katie Ellwood, also known as Bert and Bertie, said it would be the MCU’s most humorous attraction.

“[O produtor executivo] Trinh Tran knew we had to break the blueprints in this series, we couldn’t do just one more Marvel action series, ”Bertie said. “The difference between ‘Gavião Arqueiro’ is its simplicity, its comedy… Trinh never wanted to follow the old plan or cling religiously to a character’s story.”

She added, explaining that Barton’s humanity will be explored a lot more now that he has his own series:

“What we’ve done is turn the Gavião that we see on the show into a little different guy than we’re used to. For me, the comedy was trying to bring out the humanity of Clint and the situation he’s in. He’s always been the most human among the Avengers, and Jeremy has been fully invested in the character’s tones, so audiences will see something new about him, like his sense of humor and his fatherhood towards Kate.

Recall that ‘Gavião Arqueiro’ debuts on November 24, at Disney +.

So, are you looking forward to it?

Disney + and Marvel Studios invite you to an unexpected end-of-year getaway with ‘Gavião Arqueiro’, a new series set after the New York City crash. Former avenger Clint Barton (Renner) has a seemingly simple mission: to return to his family for Christmas. Possible? Perhaps with the help of Kate Bishop (Steinfeld), a 22-year-old archer who dreams of becoming a superhero. The two are forced to work together as a presence from Barton’s past threatens to destroy more than just the party vibe.

In addition to Steinfeld and Renner, Florence Pugh will reprise her role as Yelena Belova, a younger version of Black Widow.

Fra Fee will play a character named Kazi, likely a reference to Kazimierz Kazimierczak, better known as the Mercenary Evil Clown. Tony Dalton and Alaqua Cox complete the cast.
