The park covers an area of approximately 14,750 square kilometers and is home to over 2 million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle that make up the famous Serengeti migration. Selous Game Reserve The Selous Game Reserve is located in southern Tanzania and is one of the largest protected wildlife areas in Africa. The reserve covers an area of over 50,000 square kilometers and is home to large populations of elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, and numerous other species. Visitors to the Selous Game Reserve can take guided walks or game drives to explore the reserve and its wildlife, as well as boat safaris on the Rufiji River.
