Floral jungle Giovanni Raspini, the 5 “maxi” rings

Published

on

Floral Jungle is Giovanni Raspini’s new creative proposal: five limited edition rings, now on sale exclusively in the Italian market. Lush, luxuriant and full of decorative details, the five jewels created by the Tuscan designer are a tribute to the most fascinating and precious natural sites on the globe.

Maximum expression of the brand’s craftsmanship and visionary know-how, the rings find a stylistic and creative continuity inspired by Giovanni Raspini’s last major exhibition: Around the World in 80 Jewels, presented in the spring in Milan and Rome.

Floral jungle Giovanni Raspini, numbered creations

Rainbow from the Amazon, blue reef from the Pacific, lush forest from Bali, cherry blossom from Japan, flowering protea from Africa: each ring is made in just two hundred pieces. The creations take their name from a geographical location on our planet. Each piece in the collection is rich and important, as well as its own identity and high quality craftsmanship that makes them different from each other. A unique collection, designed to become a fundamental and distinctive part of the feminine look.

Amazonia rainbow is dedicated to the extraordinary biodiversity of the Amazon rainforest. A real exploration of colors and plastic modeling where fauna and flora merge into a vital and very elegant jewel. On a cast and burnished silver base, it depicts lush plants and an elegant cheetah. Seven colored gems have been set there. The large faceted cut rock crystal with an iridescent rainbow effect stands out, then the two pink siamites, the three mother-of-pearl lined quartz and the two crystals also with an iridescent effect. Silver, light and color for an elegance made of movement and passion.

Rings inspired by the sea

Even the blue reef of the Pacific offers a symphony of colors, linked to the depth and luminosity of the sea. The part in burnished silver fusion shows the typical elements of the coral reef: madrepores, corals, anemones and shells. Here, as if carried away by the ocean current, the nine jewels have been delicately placed. Here is a large drop-cut blue quartz, two natural pink pearls and another white, three mother-of-pearl-lined quartz and two light blue siamites.

Bali’s lush forest takes your mind and heart to the verdant rainforests of Southeast Asia. The rounded styles in burnished silver, almost in the shape of a drop, recall, thanks to the assembly of nine cabochon stones, the joyful freshness of water and tropical rain. Two beautiful Ethiopian opals with an iridescent effect, three tourmaline quartz lined with green agate and four quartz lined with green mother-of-pearl enrich the jewel with brilliant nuances. A corner of lush forest bathed by the monsoons.

Floral Jungle Giovanni Raspini, jewelry with personality

The combination of two different silver finishes, partly burnished and partly golden in pink tones, highlights all the delicacy of the cast decoration of the Japanese cherry blossom ring. The gems set, a color palette reminiscent of the traditional cherry blossom, are thirteen in number: two natural pink pearls, five siamites in pink tones, three black onyx, two quartz lined with pink mother-of-pearl. As the protagonist, a large corundum cut into shuttles, intense and luminous.

The last ring presented by Giovanni Raspini is the flowering African Protea. A jewel of great personality that takes us directly to southern Africa, inspired by the plant also celebrated in Europe since the 18th century for its striking colorful inflorescences. The outer corolla of the ring is in burnished silver; the interior in gilded silver set with nine natural pearls, all pink. In the center stands out an “antique cut” rock crystal cabochon, lined with labradorite with an iridescent effect. Warm colors and precious shades for a jewel that smells of distant lands. Five unique and precious rings for a beauty made of suggestions and meticulous research. Giovanni Raspini gives silver dreams.
