In April, “Better Call Saul” showrunner Peter Gould confirmed that Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul would reprise their roles as Walter White and Jesse Pinkman in Season 6 of the “Breaking Bad” spinoff.
And, according to Comic Book, the stars are set to appear in the 10th episode of the season, titled “Nippy,” which airs July 25 on AMC+.
Although nothing is confirmed regarding the appearance in the aforementioned episode, Cranston and Paul’s names have been listed for the chapter on the IMDb page.
As movie buffs already know, IMDb is a very credible database in the world of film and television productions.
Additionally, the episode is directed by Michelle MacLaren, who directed no less than 11 episodes of ‘Breaking Bad’.
During an interview for the Sirius XM Radio podcast, Cranston gave some details about the beloved characters’ presence on the attraction.
Have fun watching:
He added that he and Paul filmed several scenes: one with just Walt, one with just Jesse, and a third with Walt and Jesse back together.
“There is a scene where Aaron is without me. And there’s a scene where I’m without him. But then there’s a scene where we’re both together. So there are three satisfying scenes for “Breaking Bad” fans. It was very cool.”
Asked about the context of the scenes, the star said he had no idea as they were recorded in chronological order and inside a studio.
“To be honest with you, we shot everything in a bubble inside the studio and completely out of order – I don’t even know what episodes we’re going to appear in. I haven’t found that out yet.
For those who don’t know, Cranston and Paul filmed their scenes in “Better Call Saul” over a year ago, so it would be difficult to detail everything that happened back then.
Before that, White and Pinkman met again in the movie “El Camino,” which takes place after the final season of “Breaking Bad.”
Recalling that the second part of the last season will be broadcast on July 11 on AMC.
The final season concludes the complicated journey and the transformation of its committed hero, Jimmy McGill (Odenkirk), into criminal lawyer Saul Goodman. From the cartel to the courtroom, from Albuquerque to Omaha, season 6 follows Jimmy, Saul and Gene, as well as Jimmy’s complex relationship with Kim (Rhea Seehorn), which is in the midst of an existential crisis. Meanwhile, Mike (Jonathan Banks), Gus (Giancarlo Esposito), Nacho (Michael Mando) and Lalo (Tony Dalton) are caught up in a deadly game of cat and mouse.
Created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, the production serves as a prequel and spin-off to the acclaimed and award-winning “Breaking Bad” series.
The cast also includes Rhea Seehorn, Patrick Fabian, Michael Mando, Giancarlo Esposito and Tony Dalton.
