“The Fast and the Furious 9” has released a new clip that shows Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) facing off against his brother Jakob (John Cena) in a hand-to-hand fight.

In an interview with EW magazine, star John Cena spoke about the action saga’s tremendous success, noting that his own absurdities are the key elements that make the films so popular with fans.

For Cena, not taking yourself seriously is what keeps audiences coming back to the movies every time there’s a new “The Fast and the Furious” onscreen:

“Fast takes the unreal and makes it common. Any other movie could even try to do what Fast and Furious is doing, but it will be amazing because it hasn’t been accomplished. In our case, it’s as if the audience blinks at the screen and says to themselves: “Of course you’re going to do that!” And we’re not afraid to blink our eyes every now and then and say, “Thanks for letting us do this,” which is a really cool feature of any form of entertainment, which is never take yourself too seriously. ”

It should be noted that “The Fast and the Furious 9” is the first Hollywood film since “Avengers: Ultimatum” to open with over $ 100 million in China.
