Fans Demand Henry Cavill Return After ‘Faceless Superman’ Rumors in ‘Black Adam’

It’s been nearly five years since Henry Cavill donned the Superman costume in “Justice League.”

After that, the character appeared in the post-credits scene of “Shazam!”, but with his face cut from the scene, as Cavill had not been asked to reprise the role.

Earlier this year, the Man of Steel appeared in the ‘Peacemaker’ series, but his face was obscured by shadows as he was played by a stuntman.

Now rumors indicate that the hero will return in the movie “Black Adam”.

Although the news is unconfirmed, fans are already demanding that Cavill be cast in the film, saying the character and actor should be respected.

Recalling that “Black Adam” will hit domestic theaters on October 20, a day before the US premiere.

Nearly 5,000 years after being gifted with the omnipotent powers of the Egyptian gods – and just as quickly arrested – Black Adam (Dwayne Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.

The film will also star Justice Society members Doctor Fate (Pierce Brosnan), Hawkman (Aldis Hodge), Atom Crusher (Noah Centineo), and Cyclone (Quintessa Swindell).

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (‘Águas Rasas’), the feature film will take place in the same universe as ‘Shazam!’.
