The “ Falcon and the Winter Soldier ” series finale sparked further doubt among Marvel fans, regarding the peculiar behavior of the character Sharon (Emily VanCamp) throughout the episodes.
Many were suspicious of the character’s true intentions in Madripoor Town, suspecting that she might perhaps be the power trader. But with the post-credit scene shown last Friday (23), new suspicions have pointed to the possibility that Sharon is hiding another secret, in fact a Skrull.
In the scene in question, when she receives a pardon and the right to return to her former CIA division – where in the past she would have helped era fugitives Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and the Falcon (Anthony Mackie) during the events of ‘Captain America: Civil War’ – she makes a mysterious call.
At the time, she said, “Start organizing our buyers. Super soldiers may not be on the menu, but we are on the verge of gaining full access to government secrets. Prototypes of weapons and so on. There must be something for everyone ”.
With the series ending at this exact moment, there are a few questions: Who would be on the other side of the call and what would be the goals of the two?
It is possible that the mysterious person on call is Countess Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), the one who allegedly recruited super soldier John Walker.
Another option would be the Benefactor, yet to be revealed in the MCU, who hired Sonny Burch (Walton Goggins) in “ Ant-Man and the Wasp. ” Plus, the character of Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell) could be too.
