The plot will be set in the Second Age of Middle-earth, thousands of years before the events of “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings”, adapting for the first time a territory that has only been explored in titles such as “The Silmarillion” and “Unfinished Tales”.

Enjoy watching:

Because of this, the public is very curious to see the episodes, which cost around half a billion dollars, transformed into a real spectacle, with beautiful sets, costumes and visual effects.

And all this is welcomed in the first reactions of the press.

Check:

“Okay, the first two episodes of ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ are a spectacular spectacle. Witnessing the scale, ambition and grandeur is unparalleled on television. The series also has the laborious task of introducing so much world building that it takes a while to get started. But overall I’m very encouraged by the first two episodes. Every pocket of civilization they visit introduces a new perspective and mythical cultural wonders.Simple intrigue mixed with a twinkle in the eye.

Alright, the first two episodes of #LordoftheRings #RingsofPower are a spectacular sight to behold. The scale, scope, ambition and grandeur are unmatched on television. It also has the painstaking task of introducing SO much necessary world building that it takes a bit of time to get off the ground.

“I watched the first 2 episodes of ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’. Prepare to be amazed by the scale of the production. I don’t know how they managed to do it, but they have done a “Lord of the Rings” series that makes it feel like it’s literally “Lord of the Rings.”

I saw the first 2 episodes of @primevideo’s #LordOfTheRings series. Prepare to be blown away by the scale and reach of #TheRingsofPower. I don’t know how they managed to do that, but they did a “Lord of the Rings” show that looks like “The Lord of the Rings.” ½ pic.twitter.com/OTZjH41WTS

“I’ve tried both episodes of ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ and…So far so good! The production value is quite remarkable. It has jaw-dropping visuals, one after another, and the level of detail in the costumes and production design is another. As for the story/characters… These episodes do a great job of introducing the main locations/characters. Most impress quickly, but the standouts for me were Bronwyn (Nazanin Boniadi) and Nori (Markella Kavenagh). I’m particularly impressed with how much they were able to share their passions/goals in just 2 episodes.

These eps have a LOT of work to do to introduce the key locations/players. Most make a quick impression but the biggest winners for me were Nazanin Boniadi’s Bronwyn and Markella Kavenagh’s Nori. “The first two episodes of ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ are better than what was promoted when marketed, but the series has some work to do to become a gripping storyline. It looks huge and sets up the factions well, but the pacing is a bit slow. The dwarves are already cooler than they were in ‘The Hobbit’!”

The Rings of Power (first 2 eps) is better than the marketing materials would have you believe, but has some work to do to make the plot exciting. It feels massive and sets up the factions nicely, but the pacing is off. Dwarves are already cooler than in The Hobbit! #TheRingsOfPower pic.twitter.com/crqr3wLCSh

“Yes, I’ve seen the first two episodes of ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’. So far, it’s incredibly fun and promising. But other than that, it’s beautiful. Watch on the biggest screen possible My only caveat is that I can easily see how the plot can fall apart or take off after the second episode.

Yes, I saw the first two episodes of THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RINGS OF POWER. So far, it’s incredibly fun and promising, but on top of that, gorgeous. Watch on the biggest screen possible. “The new series ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ is impressive. The huge budget just bleeds across the screen, and it *seems* like something that would go alongside Peter Jackson’s movie trilogy. But even with such a large world, it’s never overwhelming and manages to stay focused.

Amazon’s new #LordOfTheRings series #TheRingsOfPower is awesome. The massive budget just bleeds off the screen, and it *feels* like something that would go alongside the Jackson films. But even with such a vast world, it’s never overwhelming and keeps its focus.
