Those who follow director Zack Snyder’s career know that he eventually walked away from the “Justice League” recordings after the suicide of his daughter, Autumn.
After that, the film underwent abrupt changes with the arrival of director Joss Whedon (“The Avengers”), which led to Snyder releasing his original version of “Justice League” years later.
Since the release date of the official version is often used by fans to promote the #ReleasetheSnyderCut campaign, the filmmaker decided to pay tribute to his daughter and thank fans for their support.
Five years after its release, Snyder shared an image from the film on Twitter and wrote:
“Autumn meant everything with this quote – ‘The goal is not to live forever, but to create something that lives.’ All of you who made ‘Justice League’ real, honor it.”

Then he reinforced the importance of the fans who helped him promote a fundraising campaign for suicide prevention.

Recalling that Snyder is already working on his next movie, the Netflix sci-fi titled “Rebel Moon”.
In addition to directing, he is writing the screenplay alongside Shay Hatten (“Army of the Dead”) and Kurt Johnstad (“300”).

“It was me growing up as an Akira Kurosawa fan, Star Wars fan. It’s my love of sci-fi and it’s going to be a giant adventure. I hope it becomes a huge franchise as well and a universe to build on. I’ve spent the last two or three years building this universe. Every corner needs to be painted. I’ve been planning, constantly sketching and really plowing its fertile soil to make this world fully realized. “Snyder told The Hollywood Reporter.
