Young Royals season 3 is expected to be released in 2024, though Netflix has not yet announced an official release date. Fortunately, the filming for season 3 wrapped up in June 2023, so we can assume that the show will come out in early or late 2024.

Netflix released the trailer of Young Royals season 3 last month. The trailer features Wilhelm and Simon at Wilhelm’s lavish home, but it is hinted that things weren’t good. Wilhelm says, “I can’t believe that you are here,” and Simon responds, “Me neither.”

Wilhelm then says, “I just wish it wasn’t for this reason. This isn’t how I dreamed for it to be.” That clearly hints towards some tension! 

But the trailer does not give away too much about what the plot of Young Royals season 3 is about. But it does suggest that Wilhelm and Simon’s relationship will be facing some challenges. There is a lot of tension, drama, and emotions to unwrap in season 3! 

Young Royals Season 3 Is The Finale

In an interview, Omar Rudberg talked about his favorite scene to film in season 3. The third season is going to be the finale. Edvin Ryding said that his favorite scene was one where they shot in the woods at night. This hints towards the setting of the show.

Though sadly Rudberg disclosed that the final season of Young Royals is ‘THE season.’ Young Royals fans are forming theories about what might happen in season 3. Some of the most popular fan theories include:

  • Wilhelm and Simon are expected to face opposition to their relationship from their families and friends.
  • August can try to sabotage Wilhelm and Simon’s relationship.
  • Felice will have a more prominent part in student politics.
  • Wilhelm will face a situation where he has to choose between his royal duties and his relationship with Simon.
