What could be better than learning that your favorite anime has already been renewed for a third season? Season 3 of To Your Eternity has been renewed. The announcement came after the finale of the second season premiered.

It’s been confirmed that the season is already in production. To Your Eternity will be around for a longer period of time, with more engaging episodes for audiences. The announcement was made on the platform’s official social media handle.

They simply stated that the third season is already in the works.

The officially translated tweet reads, “The story will continue to ‘this world’ Let’s meet again in good spirits.” Check out the tweet below. 

When To Expect ‘To Your Eternity’ Season 3?

To Your Eternity’s production, according to our speculations, will take some time. Though the release date has not been confirmed, we believe we will be able to see it in 2024.

We also assume that, like the previous seasons, the third season will have a total of 20 episodes. Now we will get more updates once the production is halfway completed. 

The official plot of To Your Eternity reads, “A lonely boy wandering the desolate tundra meets a wolf, and the two become fast friends, depending on each other to survive the harsh environment.

But the boy has a history, and the wolf is more than meets the eye as well. To Your Eternity is a totally unique and moving manga about death, life, reincarnation, and the nature of love.”

‘To Your Eternity’ Title Story

Season after season, the show’s popularity rises. To Your Eternity has been well garnered in Japan, achieving numerous accolades and significant sales. The character of Fushi has received critical acclaim from the audience. 

There’s actually a reason behind the title ‘To Your Eternity’. Yoshitoki Ōima, a manga artist, came up with the title To Your Eternity after discovering that her sick grandmother was going to die.

Crunchyroll describes the show by penning, “In the beginning, an ‘orb’ is cast unto Earth. ‘It’ can do two things: change into the form of the thing that stimulates ‘it’; and come back to life after death.

‘It’ morphs from orb to rock, then to wolf, and finally to boy, but roams about like a newborn who knows nothing. As a boy, ‘it’ becomes Fushi. Through encounters with human kindness, Fushi not only gains survival skills but grows as a person.

But his journey is darkened by the inexplicable and destructive enemy Nokker, as well as cruel partings with the people he loves.”
