Everything We Know About ‘The Umbrella Academy’ Season 4

Far from perfect, but we love them anyway.

The Umbrella Academy is one of those shows that enthusiasts can’t get enough of. We always want more, no matter how many seasons we get to see. The show is about a dysfunctional family of adopted siblings.

They are, however, not ordinary siblings, but rather superheroes. The siblings band together to solve the mystery of their father’s death and to avert the impending threat. The storyline and, of course, the characters received positive reviews from the audience.

Each season brings something new and better. Now that definitely makes us wonder about season 4. In that case, let’s get into that.

The Umbrella Academy Season 4 Is On The Cards

The Umbrella Academy Season 4 is happening on the streaming platform Netflix. It was already renewed in August 2022. The season will have a total of six episodes. And we all know that’s a lot less, and it’s the season with the fewest episodes.

The Umbrella Academy intends to begin filming on February 6, 2023, with a target completion date of May 19, 2023. Now that means the release is pretty near. 

Showrunner Steve Blackman said in a statement that they got an amazing story ready for the spectators to watch. He said, “I’m so excited that the incredibly loyal fans of The Umbrella Academy will be able to experience the fitting end to the Hargreeves siblings’ journey we began five years ago.

But before we get to that conclusion, we’ve got an amazing story ahead for season four, one that will have fans on the edge of their seats until the final minutes.”

Title Of ‘The Umbrella Academy’ Season 4 Revealed 

Looks like this season’s title is giving away a little about the narrative. The fourth season is also given the title of ‘The Unbearable Tragedy Of Getting What You Want’. Now that’s something to think about.

Allison Hargreaves talked about saying goodbye to the incredible characters.

She revealed, “I’m going to be so sad to say goodbye to these characters and I’m already dreading the last day on set. I’m going to be a wreck, but I also feel really grateful that we know that it’s our last season.

That we get to not take a moment of being together for the last time for granted [is so important]. We get to give these characters and the fans of the show an ending that they all deserve because a lot of shows don’t get that opportunity and so I think we all are feeling very, very lucky to get to go back to Toronto and film one more time and to tie it off with a very dysfunctional, but pretty bow I’m sure.”
