‘Extraordinary,’ a superhero comedy-drama, is making a comeback. The story of the series revolves around Jen, that is adrift in a big, messed-up world with only a little hope and a lot of utter despair.

She embarks on a journey to discover her maybe superpower. And while doing that, she may explore the delight of being simply sort of okay. The first season has eight episodes with incredible twists and humor.

‘Extraordinary’ Season 2 Is Coming Soon

A second season of the show has already been confirmed. That’s not surprising given the positive feedback and support it received from the spectators. Though the release date and the narrative have been kept under wraps. But according to the speculations, we might get to see this new season by 2024. The team is excited to be back on the screens again.

Extraordinary Season 2: More Humor Is On The Way

In the second season, we will see more of the characters’ journeys and enthusiasm. In an interview, McSweeney said, “It’s the story of Jen going through life feeling like a loser because she hasn’t got anything sorted out.

She blames it on not having a superpower, but of course, everybody feels like that in their 20s. I certainly did.

The superhero aspect is incidental. It’s a clever framework to explore the universal human story of feeling crap and useless. But it’s really funny; the funniest scripts I’ve read since Derry Girls.”

It appears that the amazing characters will provide us with even more amusement.

The Shows Creator Talked About The Inspiration For ‘Extraordinary’

Extraordinary’s creator discussed the series’ inspiration and revealed that it is partially inspired by the creator’s life.

“It’s more inspiration from the feeling. OK, I’ve probably talked to some woman that’s been like ludicrously beautiful and she’s said she’s not worn make-up [like a woman with the power to shapeshift in the show]. And I guess when I was writing it I really did feel the way that Jen does in the show.

I don’t feel like that anymore, or I still do a little bit. I think the point of the show is understanding that you don’t owe anyone, that you don’t have to have anything to offer, and that you’re just OK.

And that’s fine: you’ve got your friends, your family – just have fun. You don’t have to be the best at things.”

Extraordinary Season 2 Begins Production
