Wednesday Addams is followed in the Netflix series as she enrols in Jericho, New York’s Nevermore Academy, a school for misfits.

The local ‘normies,’ or people without supernatural abilities, are a source of constant conflict for the pupils of Nevermore. This antagonism intensifies when a spate of heinous killings rocks Jericho. Wednesday looks into a murder case involving her parents from thirty years ago while settling into her new school and developing her psychic abilities. So, let’s take a look at the cast of Wednesday.

Jenna Ortega As Wednesday Addams

The brilliant actress Jenna Ortega plays the role of the titular character, Wednesday. Notable roles include those in Scream (2022), X, The Fallout, You, Stuck in the Middle, and Jane the Virgin. Jenna Ortega is known as the ‘Scream Queen.’ In addition, Ortega has agreed to reprise a Tim Burton role in Beetlejuice 2, portraying Lydia Deetz’s (Winona Ryder) daughter.

Wednesday herself is the gothic deadpan daughter of Morticia and Gomez Addams, who tries to kill people at her former high school. She is exiled to the outcast school of Nevermore Academy. In addition, Ortega portrays Wednesday’s 17th-century ancestor, Goody Addams.

Catherine Zeta-Jones As Morticia Addams

Catherine plays her role wonderfully as Morticia Addams, the mother of Wednesday. The films Chicago, The Mask of Zorro, Traffic, Ocean’s Twelve, The Terminal, and Entrapment are the ones for which Catherine Zeta-Jones is most known. Zeta-Jones will most likely make a comeback on Wednesday, if only in a minor capacity.

She plays quite the beloved and complicated character as well. Wednesday’s mother and Pugsley’s gothic spouse, Morticia Addams, is a member of the Wednesday cast. Morticia, who is a psychic as well, went to Nevermore Academy thirty years ago; Wednesday is now tied to her mother’s shadow, and working to leave her own mark.

Luis Guzmán As Gomez Addams

Luis Guzman is in an amazing role as the other half of the gothic couple, Gomez Addams. The parts that Guzmán is most recognized for are from Boogie Nights, Punch-Drunk Love, Oz, Traffic, and Narcos. Additionally, he made an appearance in the 2023 action-thriller Havoc directed by Gareth Evans and had a tiny role in Rian Johnson’s Poker Face. Guzmán is expected to return in a short capacity for Wednesday’s second season.

Gomez Addams is one of the biggest influences for Wednesday in the show, due to his past. Thirty years ago, Wednesday’s father was charged with the murder of a Jericho normie. In other words, out of all the Wednesday characters, it is he whose previous deeds have caused the greatest difficulty for his daughter at her new school.

Emma Myers As Enid Sinclair

Emma Myers has done a wonderful job in portraying one of the most important characters in the show, apart from Wednesday herself. Myers starred in The Baker and the Beauty and Girl in the Basement before joining the Wednesday cast. In addition, Myers has agreed to play the lead in the YA mystery film A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, which is based on the Holly Jackson trilogy of books.

Wednesday lives at Nevermore Academy with Enid, her colourful and vivacious roommate. Because she can’t ‘wolf out,’ although she is a werewolf, she is shunned by her family. Enid and Wednesday don’t get along when they move in together, but during the semester, they unexpectedly become friends. This has been one of the most amazing friendships of the season and a relationship we’re really invested in.

Hunter Doohan As Tyler Galpin

Hunter is in the role of Tyler Galpin, the normie love interest of Wednesday, and plays the part to perfection. Among Doohan’s noteworthy performances are those of Adam Desiato in Your Honor and Teenage Warren in Truth Be Told. He may very well make a comeback in Wednesday season 2 as the main antagonist out for vengeance.

In the Wednesday cast, Tyler is the son of Sheriff Galpin of Jericho. The teenage character befriends Wednesday Addams while working at the neighbourhood coffee shop, Weathervane Cafe. Their romance was destroyed by the fact that he was Wednesday’s serial killer and secondary adversary.
