About two decades after her last appearance in the franchise, “Screaming World” actress Regina Hall has commented on whether she’ll be making a new movie in the franchise. The first film took place in 2000, as a parody of ‘Scream’, in addition to other films of the time, thus generating four more sequels.

The first feature starred Anna Faris, Hall, Jon Abrahams, Shannon Elizabeth, and Shawn and Marlon Wayans (who also wrote the film) as friends trying to survive a serial killer who wants to kill several high school kids. The other films made parodies with other films of the time, and were also successful.

After a long hiatus from the franchise, actress Regina Hall has answered star Anna Faris if she would star in a film in the franchise again. Faris said she’s on to a new horror movie with good funding and thinks Hall might be interested as well. As for Hall, Matt tells ET that he would like the cast to have a reunion, he would like to see how it goes today. She doesn’t think the characters would fit today, but said they would be “fun to watch”.

“I think we should have a reunion, but maybe 20 years later it’s too late for that. There would have to be a reunion 23 years later. Who would be? I think: ‘I would like to see where these characters are now, “maybe not in a good place, but I think it would be fun to see,” Regina Hall said.

‘Scary Movie’ (in the original) is an American horror film series comprising five parody films, mostly focusing on horror films. The films have collectively grossed nearly $900 million worldwide at the box office.
