‘Euphoria’ Jacob Elordi to Star in New Series Set During World War II

According to Variety, Jacob Elordi, known for his work on the ‘Euphoria’ series, will star in ‘The Narrow Road to the Deep North’ miniseries.

The actor will play Dorrigo Evans, described as “an army surgeon whose brief affair with his uncle Amy’s wife sustains and haunts him through his darkest days as the reluctant leader of a group of men prisoners during the Second World War”.

With five episodes ordered, the production will be based on the book of the same name by Richard Flanagan.

Justin Kurzel will direct, in addition to serving as executive producer alongside Flanagan and screenwriter Shaun Grant.

“It’s amazing to have Jacob Elordi on this project,” said producer Jo Porter. “The character of Dorrigo Evans requires a talented actor who can portray his strength, sensitivity and charisma – qualities that Jacob possesses in abundance. With the creative team formed by Justin Kurzel and Shaun Grant, there is no best option to bring this story to life.
