The ‘Dopesick’ miniseries, which revolves around the opioid crisis in the United States, debuted on the Star + platform this Friday (12). The first two episodes are now available on the program.
The production is based on the New York Times bestselling book of the same name, written by Beth Macy.
The plot follows the chronic crisis that the United States has suffered for years with opioids and their indiscriminate use in the country – which has generated a succession of addicts to controlled drugs, in addition to being responsible for a high rate of death.
