Anson Mount first played Black Lightning in the canceled ‘Inhumans’ series and had the opportunity to reprise the role in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’.
In the film, he is an Illuminati member murdered by Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen), who cuts his mouth out, causing him to commit suicide after he cries out and blows his brains out.
Known for his supersonic screams, the hero came to life in the MCU with a look much more faithful to the comic book version.
And The Direct released behind-the-scenes footage from the sequel, revealing the hero’s costume was made 100% in CGI (computer-generated imagery).
