Diabolik 2 – Ginko on the attack, the official trailer shows us the complete cast and the “new” King of Terror
Last August, 01 Distribution unveiled the short clip through which the public could have a taste of Diabolik 2 – Ginko on the attack. The character teaser, shared a few months ago, gave us our first look at Eva Kant, Inspector Ginko, Altea, and most importantly, the new King of Terror. After some time from this video, lasting a few seconds, the official trailer was released with some preview scenes. From the entry into action of Altea, to the confrontation between Ginko and Diabolik, the clip has created a good dose of hype, pending the theatrical release, scheduled for November 17.

The previous chapter of Manetti Bros. divided critics. Nevertheless, it still won a David di Donatello for best original song, against 11 nominations. Audience reaction was also mixed, although the film earned €2.6 million. The health emergency, during which the film was distributed in Italian cinemas, could also serve as an explanation for affecting the success in economic terms.

Even the hype, due to the postponement – by exactly one year – from the previously set date, did not allow the film to sparkle at the box office. But if the first Diabolik had the function of a kind of “test bed”, everything will be played out with the sequel, which we can take a first look at in the official trailer.
