Daredevil: Vincent D’Onofrio CELEBRATES Charlie Cox’s return to role

After Kevin Feige confirmed to Cinema Blend that Charlie Cox would return under the hood of Daredevil at some point in the MCU, fans went wild.

For those who don’t remember, Cox brought the character to life in the three seasons of the series produced by Netflix in partnership with Marvel Television, until its cancellation in 2018.

And it’s not just the fans who were delighted with the news …

On his Twitter profile, Vincent D’Onofrio, who brought villainous Wilson Fisk to life on the show, commemorated Feige’s statement and praised Cox.

“I’m so happy for Charlie Cox, he really deserves it. He’s a great actor and a great guy. He has invested so much in Daredevil in a unique way. I loved this news.

Unfortunately, Feige didn’t reveal when Cox will be seen again as Matt Murdock, as he only said that:

“If you saw Daredevil in upcoming Marvel productions, Charlie Cox would be the actor playing him. Now, how, when and where will he come back … We are still thinking about it. You just have to wait to find out, ”said the filmmaker.

Regardless, insider Daniel RPK had previously planned for Cox to return as the character of “Spider-Man: No Return Home,” and leaked footage showed the star with Tom Holland, Marisa Tomei, and Jon Favreau.

As Feige said, we can only wait now to find out if the leak is really real.

Meanwhile, “Spider-Man: No Return Home” hits national theaters on December 16.
