Dancing with the stars, expelled without appeal: immediate decision. The case sparked a lot of talk, Rai listened to calls
A healthy battle, a head to head between two programs among the most beloved by the public and even if Tu Sì that Vales is winning, Dancing with the stars 2022 achieves very similar ratings. But what will happen now that one of its protagonists has been expelled without appeal by Rai?

The culprit is Enrico Montesano, expelled from the Rai 1 program with immediate effect without appeal and therefore unable to enter the game with Alessandra Tripoli. It has nothing to do with what the couple had done on the track. Indeed, in the first weeks of the program, they were among the most appreciated by the jury and the public.
But the magic ended when some footage showed the Roman actor wearing a T-shirt celebrating Decima Mas during rehearsals for the live broadcast on Saturday night. A fascist symbol, immediately challenged via social networks by the public but also by various associations, such as the Anpi (National Association of Partisans of Italy). He called it “a disgrace that offends the victims of Nazi-fascist crime and of the Resistance, the root of the Republic”.

Dancing with the stars, expelled without appeal:
Rai’s response came late afternoon today and is clear: “What happened last night on Dancing with the Stars – reads a note – is unacceptable. It remains inadmissible for a contestant to ‘a public service television program wears a T-shirt with a motto and symbol that evokes one of the darkest pages of our history’. And there are apologies to viewers, ‘especially those who have paid and suffered personally because of the Nazi-fascism to which this symbolism refers”. Therefore, termination of your participation in the program is immediate.
The response from Enrico Montesano on Facebook came immediately: “I am deeply sorry and saddened by what happened during the rehearsals of the program. I’m a collector of shirts I have Mao’s, from the USSR, but I don’t agree with that thought. There was no intention in me to promote political messages or the apology of fascism from which I am deeply distant”. He calls it naivety and apologizes. However, Selvaggia Lucarelli also returned to the issue, dismissing the accusation of having cleverly mounted a controversy to raise the hearings and create the case of the week. “I am a journalist, I have news, I give them. In this case, giving news was also an uncomfortable thing for my position, but I could not be silent”.
