‘Crystal Lake’: ‘Friday the 13th’ Based Series Wins Amazing Fan-Made Poster

Artist Creepy Duck Design has shared a stunning poster for the upcoming “Crystal Lake” series, which will serve as a prequel to the classic “Friday the 13th.”

Bryan Fuller, known for series such as ‘Hannibal’, ‘American Gods’ and ‘Star Trek Discovery’ will helm the series and also serve as showrunner.

The famous production company A24 is also involved in the project.

It should be noted that “Crystal Lake” is described as a drama, in the style of Bates Motel.

“I discovered Friday the 13th through the pages of Famous Monsters when I was ten years old, and I’ve been thinking about this story ever since. When it comes to horror, A24 is above any other studio. I’m excited to explore Crystal Lake as part of this partnership,” Fuller said himself.

The last film in the franchise was released in 2009 and starred Jared Padalecki. Despite efforts to revive the franchise, the film was a critical failure, earning a 26% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and grossing just $90 million at the worldwide box office.
