‘Cruel Summer’: Teen Thriller Series Now Available on Amazon Prime Video

One of the most acclaimed productions of the year, the teenage thriller series “Cruel Summer” is now available on Amazon Prime Video.

The first season was released today, August 6, in the catalog of the streaming platform.

The series is produced by Jessica Biel of ‘The Sinner’.

The summer of 1993 in a small town in Texas saw the disappearance of high school’s most popular girl, Kate Wallis (Olivia Holt). And Jeanette (Chiara Aurelia), until then an excluded young woman, assumes the post of new popular high school. But everything gets out of hand and Jeanette’s life intersects with Kate’s mysterious disappearance.

Each episode will feature the point of view of one of the two girls, changing viewer loyalty each week, according to information revealed.

Olivia Holt (‘Cloak & Dagger’) will star in the production. The cast also includes Chiara Aurelia, Michael Landes, Froy Gutierrez, Harley Quinn Smith, Allius Barnes, Blake Lee, Brooklyn Sudano and Sarah Drew.
