Searchlight Pictures has released the new official trailer for “The Banshees of Inisherin,” a drama starring Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson.

The film arrives on October 21 in the United States, still without a release date in Brazil.

Set on a remote island off the west coast of Ireland, “The Banshees of Inisherin” revolves around longtime friends Pádraic (Farrell) and Colm (Gleeson), who find themselves at an impasse when Colm ends unexpectedly to their friendship. A stunned Pádraic, aided by his sister and a young islander, struggles to mend the relationship, refusing to take no for an answer. But Pádraic’s repetitive efforts only strengthen his friend’s resolve, and when Colm issues a desperate ultimatum, events escalate exponentially, with shocking consequences.

Kerry Condon and Barry Keoghan are also part of the cast.
