The production is developed by Universal Pictures.

The screenplay was written by Jimmy Warden and is based on a true story that took place in Kentucky in 1985.

It has been nicknamed “Pablo EskoBear” and has become one of Kentucky’s strangest tourist attractions. The case took place in the 1980s, when former police officer Andrew Thornton became an international drug dealer and began operating a drug route from Colombia to the United States.

During one of the drug trafficking flights, Thornton had to jump out of the plane in midair as he flew over the Chattahoochee National Forest, with 40 plastic containers full of cocaine in his body.

Enjoy watching:

The trafficker died because the extra weight of the cocaine made the parachute unable to withstand the fall. And then the $ 15 million 40 kilograms of cocaine disappeared. The bear has eaten.

The story of the film will show the 80 kilo black bear who was found dead of an overdose after ingesting large amounts of cocaine dumped in the forest by the drug dealer.

Phil Lord and Chris Miller (“Spider-Man on the Spiderverse”) will be the producers of the film.

In 2019, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett and Chad Villella, who are currently responsible for the new film in the franchise “Scream”, were involved, but ended up walking away from the project for undetermined reasons.
