“Child abuse”, new scandal at Buckingham Palace: the royal family trembles

A new scandal is engulfing the royal family at the moment, with Buckingham Palace’s reputation likely to decline further and further.

The royal family is at risk of being overwhelmed by a new scandal that could shatter the reputation of England’s royal family. This time at the center of the scandal we find the cousin of Queen Elizabeth: what happened.

New scandal at court for the royal family of England. Indeed, Lord Mountbatten, the last viceroy of India, cousin of Queen Elizabeth II and maternal uncle of her husband Philip, is accused of having sexually abused a child. All of this allegedly happened in a Belfast rphanage, a house of horrors where all manner of child abuse and harassment took place. The man also disappeared 43 years ago, the victim of an IRA attack which blew up his yacht with a bomb.

Despite this, his name is known since he appears in the fiction The Crown interpreted by Greg Wise in the first two series and then by Charles Dance. Arthur Smith, the accuser, took it upon himself to rewind the tape, taking everyone back to 1977. Smith waived anonymity, to which he would have been entitled due to the delicate circumstances and young age of the time (he was 11 years old) and said it all publicly. Amazingly, the Belfast court decided to give him credit upon hearing his story.

Kincora Boys’ Home has been charged twice in recent years. In fact, the first occurred in 1980, when a ring of serious organized sexual abuse of minors was uncovered. Attempts to hide everything obviously did not fail. but despite this, 11 cases were found and three caregivers were arrested. Five years ago, however, a new investigation was opened and revealed that the small victims were at least 39. Open criticism against the authorities of the time was therefore not lacking.

To date, however, Smith says he was abused by a staff member. This is William McGrath, described by the media at the time as “the beast of Kincora”. Then the man reported that he was taken to a room downstairs where there was a large office, with a large desk and a shower. Additionally, Smith revealed that he only recognized the author in 1979 for the outcry sparked by the murder of Lord Mountbatten. Today, the accuser lives in Australia and reiterated to remember forever who abused him.
