Star+ has released the subtitled horror trailer ‘The Evil Meme’ (Grimcutty), which appears on the list of most-watched titles on its streaming service.
Check:
The film focuses on Momo, an urban legend that has spread across the internet and terrified parents around the world.
Although our reviewer says the production is horribly bad, the film is making a name for itself. The internet talks a lot about the feature, but also about the particular title.
Have fun watching:

No, it’s not a joke. The movie “O Meme do Mal”, about “Momo”, is now available on Star+ here in Brazil. I just think they missed the chance to name the movie “A Momo do Mal”, but ok. pic.twitter.com/C99oUXj6og

Momo was originally made as a sculpture by Japanese artist Keisuke Aisawa in 2016 as part of an art exhibition in Tokyo. The play is actually called Mother Bird, but it was renamed by people who started rumors about the Momo Challenge, which encouraged children to get hurt.
John Ross (“The Birch”) is in charge of the production.
A teenage girl and her younger brother must face off against a terrifying internet legend brought to life by their parents’ hysteria.
The cast includes Usman Ally (“A Series of Unfortunate Events”), Shannyn Sossamon (“Wayward Pines”), Callan Farris (“Aliens Nanny”), Alona Tal (“Supernatural”) and Kayden Koshalev (“Family Vacation”) . ).
