During DisneyD23, CinePOP had the opportunity to interview star Charlie Cox – who unexpectedly returned as Daredevil in “Spider-Man: No Homecoming.”
Now the character can be seen in ‘She-Hulk’ and the actor has revealed he will have a more “fun, sassy and provocative tone”.
« Tatyana [Maslany] is such an amazing actress and the chemistry between us was so much fun. It allowed me to do this character in a slightly different way, with a different tone, fun, sassy, and provocative in a way that wasn’t possible on our show because her tone was essentially darker, whereas in She-Hulk, we can experience a lighter and more fun approach.

Soon, Cox will star in his own series on Disney+, titled “Daredevil: Born Again.”
Editor Renato Marafon asked the actor how he found out he would be returning as the character:
“I thought it was a joke or a prank. Got a message from Kevin Feige’s assistant saying ‘Can you call us back?’ I thought it might be for a charity event because of Covid and that everyone would attend. But I was asked if I wanted to be in Spider-Man, it was crazy. I was in the garden of my house and my wife was sitting on the steps, looking at me and asking, ‘What’s going on?’ It was crazy. It was a childhood dream, it was amazing.”
Recalling that the title ‘Daredevil: Reborn’ refers to the comics, in a narrative arc in which the hero and the Kingpin face off in one of Marvel’s darkest clashes.
The original series ran for three seasons with a total of 39 episodes until its cancellation, along with the other Marvel series on Netflix.
