Cerrone Nozze, the art of handcrafting with passion

You are a historic family business, how was the passion for wedding invitations born?

I am an art girl, barely five days old I was already in the family print shop! My father has always been a truly exceptional printer and lithographer and my mother also grew up “in the art of hosting” thanks to my grandfather master of ceremonies. The union of my parents gave birth not only to a wonderful family, but also to this unique typographic style dedicated to invitations for weddings, events and parties.

How has your business evolved since 1985?

Our reality has evolved over time thanks to the stubbornness and resourcefulness of my parents who created it, but especially with the new generation. My true beginning of work at just sixteen years old and that of my irreplaceable half, my brother, who took over the legacy of our father by founding Mastro Ink in his honor. From a purely typographic discourse, we have extended the company’s vision also to the sector of graphic design, web design and personalized wedding stationery.

Over the years, how have the needs for creating announcements by spouses evolved?

Today the invitation has become a symbol of excellence, it is the “visiting card” of the event and presents it in all its facets. It can be absolutely traditional, as the timeless label goes, although currently couples like to personalize it in every way, always experimenting with shapes, colors, fabrics and detailed prints. The watchword is uniqueness!

Cerrone Nozze creates wedding stationery projects, can you show us what it’s all about?

The wedding stationery is what coordinates the event: we start from the creation of the logo with the production of the save the date then, following the schedules dictated by the etiquette, we come to prepare the invitations, the ceremony booklet, the wedding timeline cards, escort cards, the reception menu and any personalized paper accessories. The main rule is that everything is in style and coordinated. Once a paper support, a font style, a type of printing has been chosen, it must never be modified again so that everything is consistent from the first to the last element.

What are the 2023 trends in terms of invitations and participations?

The “couture” is always the key element and this is reflected in the use of artistically created elements on the occasion of the event for the couple, such as watercolors and pen graphics, but also the use of fabrics combined with papers is very fashionable, the invitation thus becomes almost a gift.

What are some of the most distinctive and trendy color shades?

The palette of powder pink with gold is surely always the most chosen, in general pastel colors and contrasts of romantic elements with more modern fonts.

What do future brides inspire when choosing their invitations?

The participation is entirely inspired by the event. In fact, I always recommend creating our stationery immediately after choosing the venue and flower arrangement which are the “macro categories” that establish the style of the wedding. Then I link to this thread trying to contextualize and harmonize each element as much as possible.

In weddings where etiquette and etiquette are important, what do you recommend for a choice of style and class?

Tradition is always a great choice. The classic participation with announcement of the parents or bride and groom in a pointed envelope, the ticket for the separate invitation and gray printing.

What should never be missing in a participation?

Surely a correct approach, a fact that should be basic but is absolutely missing in most creations. It’s great to keep up with fashion and innovation, but wedding etiquette is key.

Dedicate yourself always with greater attention to detail, to the innovations that we offer from season to season and above all to the constant search for Made in Italy. Everything is handmade, even the selection of suppliers is decisive in this, so we aim to offer our customers tailor-made, quality and personalized elements. The most coveted project is certainly that of maintaining this perspective, certainly difficult with the current world problems, but it is the very guarantee of Cerrone Nozze.
