A new manhunt is about to begin on Prime Video. The third edition of Celebrity Hunted involved new VIP fugitives: only Katia Follesa chose to compete alone, the others in pairs. But how will the cast have lived this experience?
Celebrity Hunted – Manhunt officially returns with a third season which, to define it with the words of its fugitives, was certainly “extraordinary” as Ciro Priello points out paired with Fabio Balsamo, but also “arrogant and rude” for the new duo composed by Irama and Rkomi. And also tiring from a physical point of view: Cristina Marino, in fact, has defined the adventure with Luca Argentero as “loaking”. For the couple, this is the first television experience together and, thinking about the future, they do not exclude new projects to carry out together: it is enough to have the right proposal.
The third edition arrives on Prime Video on Thursday, November 17, 2022 with the first three episodes. The last three will, however, be broadcast on the streaming platform on November 24, 2022. The setting is the now standard one shown in previous editions: a group of VIP fugitives must outrun the hunters. Only those who succeed will achieve victory. But how did the cast live this experience? Almost everyone played in pairs, except Katia Follesa who took the opportunity for a perfect solo trip to find each other.
Celebrity Hunted – Manhunt 3: The Casting Experience
During the press conference held in Milan on November 16, the cast of Celebrity Hunted officially presented the third edition, full of twists and special guests. In fact, each couple in the race has requested the support of other VIPs such as Gianni Morandi, Mara Maionchi and Blanco who appear in the episodes. An intense experience that tested the strongest relationships, those of love and friendship. For example, Cristina Marino and Luca Argentero perfectly balanced the stability of the team: on the one hand Marino’s instinct, on the other Argentero’s rationality. In this regard, the actor clarified: “Cristina feeds on a formidable competitive spirit. For her, the only possible hypothesis is victory. I experienced it as a game, but I was dealing with an agonist and so I had to adapt. I also lost a few pounds during the break”.
Marco D’Amore and Salvatore Esposito, friends and filming colleagues with Gomorrah – The Series, put their friendship to the test with this experience. Orchestrating the escape plan as a tribute to cinema, associating each stage with the seven deadly sins, Marco and Sasà traveled Italy from North to South with their biting irony. Fabio and Ciro, on the other hand, thanks to the art of disguise, never left their starting point. Disguising themselves and having a fondness for good food, they also asked the rest of the Jackals for help.
Irama and Rkomi asked Elodie about her experience
Irama and Rkomi called their experience “rude” and “arrogant”, also referring to their songs. “Arrogant and rude mirrors this edition for us, we were very arrogant and rude towards the hunters, we could do it for once, we wanted to provoke them. There was a close encounter with the hunters who let off steam because there were all kinds of things going on,” they explained during the conference.
In addition, the two singers admitted to having asked Elodie how she had lived her experience at Celebrity Hunted for the second edition. “His experiences were very similar to ours on an emotional level, so he told us about his ups and downs.” Finally Katia Follesa chose to participate alone. “There was the idea of going as a couple, but the partner I had chosen couldn’t because of work needs. Then they said to me: why don’t you go alone? I gassed myself and so I accepted”. According to the presenter, this third edition is the most beautiful to date, “very fun and different, especially with twists”. And it’s not even the first experience with Prime Video. Katia participated in the first edition of LOL – Qui rit came out and has no doubt what was the most difficult. “For us the first edition of LOL was traumatic”.
