‘Catherine Called Birdy’: medieval comedy starring Bella Ramsey is now available on Prime Video!

“Catherine Called Birdy”, a medieval comedy with Bella Ramsey (“Game of Thrones”), is now available on Prime Video.

The film entered the streaming platform’s catalog on October 7.

The film is directed by Lena Dunham, who also wrote the screenplay for the eponymous novel by Karen Cushman.

In 1290, the young Lady Catherine, known as Birdy, was the youngest of the Rollo family. Broke and without hope for the future, the only way out seems to be to marry Birdy to a rich man. But, like all heroines, Birdy wants more than just marriage and that will cause a lot of trouble between her and her parents.

Andrew Scott, Billie Piper, Joe Alwyn, Dean-Charles Chapman, Ralph Ineson, Isis Hainsworth, Archie Renaux and Dunham round out the cast.
