Carlo celebrates his first birthday as king at the age of 74
Today, November 14, King Charles celebrates his first-ever birthday as sovereign. He had to wait for this moment for 74 years. The United Kingdom is preparing to celebrate the momentous date set to celebrate the plans of the new king and his life as crown prince.
The monarch’s birthday in the English royal family is celebrated twice, especially when the birth does not take place in the summer. At noon, however, the 41 guns of the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery from nearby Green Park will pay their respects. Following this, the Scottish Royal Guards band will perform another performance of Happy Birthday. An hour later, the Honorable Artillery Company will fire a 62-gun salute from the Tower of London.
King Charles leaves behind birthdays as Prince of Wales
King Charles III currently lives at Clarence House and crowds are expected to gather there to wish him a happy birthday. True, in his life he has shown that he is not predictable when it comes to traditions and may decide to create his own tradition for his birthday.
