Camilla on vacation without Carlo: the exotic destination
Queen Consort Camilla has flown to India for a luxury vacation at a holistic retreat, where she plans to stay for the next 10 days. King Charles, however, remained in the United Kingdom where he was selected for the first meeting with Rishi Sunak, elected in the last hours as the country’s new Prime Minister. After a turbulent few weeks for British politics, the Sovereign was unable to go on holiday.
According to Express.co.uk, the king spent the last weekend alone, deciding to relax in the English countryside at the royal estate of Sandringham. His wife Camilla was not present with him, who flew in from the UK using a British Airways flight to India.
According to what the Times of India published, in fact, the queen consort would have arrived on Friday at the Soukya Holistic Health Center near Bangalore. But Parker Bowles is not traveling alone. In fact, it is said that he is on vacation with friends.
Camilla flies to India for a rejuvenating holiday
Since the death of Queen Elizabeth, there have been many difficult days for King Charles and for his Queen consort Camilla. The couple has indeed had to face the difficult transition between the two kingdoms. While preparing for the next coronation, scheduled for May 6, he also faced the political crisis. Reasons that prompted the queen consort to take a 10-day vacation in India.
The magazine reports that in India Camilla will “undergo rejuvenation therapies”, adding that the queen is there for a “private” visit with no official commitment on the agenda. The center she went to was founded by Harvard graduate Dr. Issac Mathai. It is a heavenly destination described as a “holistic health destination for restoring the body’s natural balance between mind, body and spirit”.
In its presentation, in fact, it is configured as a wellness clinic, a true “unique healing sanctuary”. Here you will find wellness techniques such as Ayurveda, homeopathy, yoga, naturopathy and other complementary therapies. It’s not the first time that Camilla has been there. The Queen Consort last stayed at the resort in November 2017 with her husband Carlo, on the occasion of her 69th birthday. In general, the Queen has been there at least six times since 2010. On this occasion, the arrival of King Charles was also expected, who is unlikely to join her due to new political commitments.
