According to Collider, the legendary Glenn Close was featured in the long-awaited comedy “Brothers,” written by Ethan Coen (“Ave, Caesar!”).

The eight-time Oscar-nominated actress joins previously announced Josh Brolin and Peter Dinklage.

Max Barbakow (‘Palm Springs’) will be in charge of the directing, from a screenplay signed by Coen and Macon Blair.

The production will be funded by Legendary.

Details of the story have not been revealed, although comparisons between this film and Ivan Reitman’s classic “Gemini” have been made. The 1988 film also starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito as likely brothers.

Close is one of the best-known actresses in the film scene and has taken on many iconic roles, including the live-action “101 Dalmatians” by Cruella de Vil. His other works include “The Wife”, “Once Upon a Dream”, “Albert Noobs” and “Guardians of the Galaxy”.

Brolin is known for many movie roles, the best known being Thanos in the ‘Avengers’ franchise and Cable in ‘Deadpool 2’. His other projects include ‘The Goonies’, ‘Sicario: No Man’s Land’ (and its sequel released in 2018) and ‘Oldboy – Days of Revenge’.

Dinklage, meanwhile, rose to prominence playing Tyrion Lannister in the popular “Game of Thrones” series, which ended last year. Additionally, he has appeared in films such as ‘Pixels’, ‘X-Men: Days of a Forgotten Future’ and most recently in ‘My Dinner with Hervé’.

Ethan has an extensive filmography, which he built alongside his brother, Joel Coen. His credits include “Where the Weak Don’t Turn”, “The Big Lebowski”, “Indomitable Bravery” and, most recently, “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs”.
