According to TVLine, Rupert Evans (‘Charmed’) has joined the long-awaited cast of season 2 of ‘Bridgerton’.
The actor will play Patriarch Edmund Bridgerton, described as the loving and devoted husband of Violet Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell). The character must appear through flashbacks, since Edmund is already dead in the plot.

Edmundo died of a bee sting.
It should be remembered that season 2 will bring four new names to the cast: Charithra Chandran (“Alex Rider”), Shelley Conn (“Liar”), Calam Lynch (“Black Beauty”) and Rupert Young (“Dear Evan Hanson”) .
Chandran will play Edwina Sharma, Kate’s younger sister; Conn will play Mary Sharma, Kate’s mother; Lynch will be Theo Sharpe; and Young will bring a character named Jack to life.

Based on the novels of author Julia Quinn, the series was created by Chris Van Dusen.
The story follows the life of the eight brothers of the Bridgerton family, one of the most important in English high society of the 19th century.
