‘Bones & All’: David Gordon Green and André Holland join Luca Guadagnino’s new film

According to Deadline, Michael Stuhlbarg, André Holland, Jessica Harper, Chloë Sevigny, Francesca Scorsese and David Gordon Green were cast in the ambitious’ Bones & All ‘, Luca Guadagnino’s new film (‘ Suspiria ‘,’ Call Me By Your Name ‘).

Details of their roles have not been disclosed. The group joins Timothée Chalamet, Taylor Russell and Mark Rylance, previously announced.

With a screenplay signed by Dave Kajganich, the story is based on the novel of the same name by Camille DeAngelis and revolves around teenage cannibals, focusing more specifically on the young Maren Yearly traveling across the United States to the looking for his father. Abandoned by her mother at 16, she tries to figure out why she needs to eat human flesh and why, when someone starts showing affection, it turns into food.

Russell will play Maren in what should be a lead role for the young woman, who starred in “Escape Room” and is returning for the sequel. Chalamet, who will be the protagonist of the highly anticipated “Dune”, will play Lee, another cannibal that Maren meets along the way.

More information on the project was not disclosed.

The release of “Bones & All” is not yet scheduled.
