Body Free Paramount Artistic Gymnastics Series: Thriller

Indigo Film Paramount+ and Rai Fiction present an all-new thriller set in the world of artistic gymnastics. The series is based on the novel of the same name by Ilaria Bernardini: Corpo Libero. Directed by Cosima Spender and Valerio Bonelli.
The series, available soon on Paramount +, sees among the protagonists Antonia Truppo, Filippo Nigro, Alessia De Falco, Giada Savi, Federica Cuomo, Eva Iurlaro and Giada Pirozzi. Among the extraordinary participations also that of Barbara Chichiarelli.

Corpo Libero was born from the novel of the same name by Ilaria Bernardini (ed. Mondadori) and is written by Chiara Barzini, Ilaria Bernardini, Ludovica Rampoldi and Giordana Mari. The series is a story that takes place in the world of women’s artistic gymnastics and follows in the footsteps of this sport divided between the lightness of the jumps and flights and the strict rules and the important sacrifices similar to military training. As the note which reveals some details in preview of the thriller which will be available on Paramount + explains it well: “Corpo Libero has youth and risk at its heart”. It’s a series, in fact, that combines enthusiasm and the desire for growth with the fear of change.
In the series divided into six episodes, feelings, emotions and strong stories follow one another which involve above all some young promises of female gymnastics artists. The topics covered are numerous and inevitably bring topical issues to the forefront, particularly with regard to today’s young people. From unbridled and limitless competition to intense friendships. But also stories of physical and psychological violence, stories of “blood pacts”, love affairs, first kisses, nocturnal escapes and incredible resistance trials. In the Free Body also the excess of drugs which leads to hallucinations.
