Production will return with new episodes on November 24.
The revival will feature returning veterans Paget Brewster (Prentiss), Joe Mantegna (Rossi), AJ Cook (JJ), Kirsten Vangsness (Garcia), Aisha Tyler (Tara) and Adam Rodriguez (Luke).
Unfortunately, Matthew Gray Gubler and Daniel Henney are unsigned and apparently won’t be reprising their respective roles as Spencer and Matt.
In ‘Criminal Minds: Evolution’, the FBI’s elite criminal profiling team faces its biggest threat yet, an anonymous suspect who has taken advantage of the pandemic to build a network of fellow serial killers, forcing our heroes to split up to hunt them down. them through one kill at a time.
The production will return with 10 new episodes and serve as a continuation of the original series. The revival is being treated as a “limited series,” with possibilities for the production to earn new seasons in the future.
Erica Messer will serve as showrunner.
The production will bring a mix of classic characters with new characters, in a similar approach to the revival of ‘CSI’.
The original series, which aired between 2005 and 2020, ran for an incredible 15 seasons and 323 episodes.
