Ahead of the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the cast gathered in Hollywood for the film’s world premiere. Icons such as Rihanna, Angela Bassett and Lupita Nyong’o walked the red carpet.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is set to make its theatrical debut. The first film starring Chadwick Boseman hit theaters in 2018 and introduced the Black Panther character to the Marvel Universe. Despite the premature death of the actor, the MCU wanted to continue the adventures in Wakanda without replacing him, but at the same time introducing another Black Panther.

Shortly before the film’s release, the cast gathered for the world premiere held in Hollywood on October 26, 2022. And, for the occasion, Rihanna also appeared and signed the soundtrack of the film. Many familiar faces will populate the Black Panther sequel like Angela Bassett and Lupita Nyong’o, but also new entries like Michaela Coel.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever World Premiere Red Carpet Looks
Among the stars who shone the most on the Black Panther red carpet: Wakanda Forever stands out Lupita Nyong’o, with her totally white dress with cutouts, with draped and intertwined details and one shoulder. The dress is by Balmain and the actress has a braided crown in her hair. Letitia Wright chose a classic total black suit, a bespoke look from Alexander McQueen, Spring 2023 collection, with an embroidered and crystal-studded bodice.

The luminous Angela Bassett in her magenta long dress by Moschino, strapless and completely covered in shiny sequins, with a pleated texture. To finish, shimmering candy pink sandals with Le Silla platform and Reza jewelry. Rihanna attended the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever red carpet for singing Lift Me Up, a Chadwick Boseman tribute song. For the occasion, the singer wore a sequined sage green denim strapless dress by Rick Owens.

Her sister Chloé, meanwhile, chose a shimmering dress covered in sequins and maxi necklines, which she paired with Giuseppe Zanotti platform sandals.
