“Black Panther 2”: will the character of Daniel Kaluuya be in the sequel? The manager responds!

Trailers for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” have revealed that several characters from the original film will be returning for the sequel.

However, there was no sign of the return of W’Kabi, played by Daniel Kaluuya.

In the first movie, W’Kabi betrayed T’Challa’s (Chadwick Boseman) trust by teaming up with Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan).

At the end of the plot, he surrenders, but the warrior’s ultimate fate remains uncertain.

But will the sequel provide an answer to that?

In an interview with Cinema Blend, director Ryan Coogler said Kaluuya was cut from the sequel because he was filming “No!” Do not look!’.

But the film will contain a brief mention of what happened to W’Kabi.

“Yeah, he’s mentioned in the movie. Basically he was banished from Wakanda, but he still lives on the borders of the country. Does that make sense? Then there’s dialogue in the movie where they mention he’s still alive.”

Coogler didn’t elaborate, so W’Kabi’s mention should be limited to that dialogue… But who knows, the character can redeem himself in a third movie, right?

Recalling that the sequel also includes Letitia Wright, Tenoch Huerta, Angela Bassett, Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong’o, Martin Freeman, Danai Gurira and Michaela Coel.
