Editor Renato Marafon interviewed stars Aldis Hodge and Sarah Shahi, who play Hawkman and Adrianna in “Black Adam.”
When asked what it was like working with Dwayne Johnson, Sarah replied:
“He’s my favorite subject right now. People ask me about the movie, and I say Dwayne is amazing. “Tell us about your character,” and I say, “Dwayne is amazing.” I was very impressed with him. As a pro, my co-star, playing Black Adam, he’s completely natural. It’s like a second skin for him. He’s amazing in this movie. You don’t see Dwayne Johnson when he plays the character. My favorite part is that he genuinely shares the limelight. He is not selfish in that sense. He always gives the best line to others or changes the dialogue to make another actor funnier. He really wants to see everyone win. He leads with that attitude.
Aldis continues:
“Exactly! Dwayne is very strategic. He understands the film and the audience. He knows what viewers want because he’s also a fan. In terms of building the story, he was specific about what needed to be pulled out. or introduced, being very meticulous about getting it right. He had a desire to make everything right. You can see your efforts over the past 10 years on screen.
Have fun watching:
