The CW has released the official synopsis for “Initiate Self-Destruct”, the twelfth episode of Season 2 of “Batwoman.”

In the plot, “Ryan is faced with a tough decision that can expose him as Batwoman, creating an uproar within Team Bat. Meanwhile, Kate Kane’s Black Mask plans begin to unfold. Alice meets someone from her past and Sophie has to decide who she is loyal to ”.

In the New Year, Javicia Leslie brings Ryan Wilder, a woman in her twenties who is set to become Batwoman, to life.

The character is described as “sympathetic, playful and untamed. It has nothing to do with Kate Kane, the woman who wore the costume before. Without someone special in his life, Ryan has spent years using drugs, masking his pain with bad habits.
