“Batman vs. Superman” Was “A Mistake,” Says “X-Men: First Class” Director

‘Batman vs Superman: The Origin of Justice’ became quite a controversial film when it was released, with many fans disapproving of Gotham City’s vigilante approach to gun use – something that fits. against the hero character in us.

And filmmaker Matthew Vaughn, known for his work on the ‘Kingsman’ franchise and ‘X-Men: First Class’, has criticized the introduction of Batman into the film in question.

In an interview with portal The Wrap, the director – who nearly directed the sequel to “Home of Steel” – brought up the issue, saying the decision was “a mistake.”

“I just thought it was a mistake to set the Batman vibe in Superman’s world. I just think they’re two separate things – they’re just not identifiable at all, in my mind. That should be fun. . I mean, look, The Dark Knight was obviously different, and that made sense and it was brilliant, like a movie and like a comic book. But Superman has always been… I love Richard Donner’s Superman, and I think Wonder Woman worked because she recreated Superman in a weird way. Yeah, I love Superman.

Zack Snyder takes the direction of the film, from a screenplay written by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer.

In the plot, fearing that the actions of a divine superhero may get out of hand, Gotham City’s fearsome and vigorous vigilante faces off against Metropolis’ most revered and modern savior as the world battles the genre. heroes he really needs.
