In an interview with Vox’s Recode, WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar announced that “Batman” would be added to the HBO Max catalog 45 days after its theatrical debut.
The adaptation directed by Matt Reeves will be released on the big screen on March 4, 2022 and will be released on the streaming platform on April 19.
“In the past, movies would hit theaters and didn’t arrive on HBO until eight or nine months later. “Batman” will be released on HBO Max 45 days after its debut. This is a big change and we are not even talking about long duration because we still had to wait a long time. [para ver uma grande produção em casa] if we remember 2018, 2017, 2016… ”
Movies like “The Flash” and “Black Adam” are also expected to follow this pattern.
For Kilar, this is a great way to attract followers to the platform.
“I really feel great knowing that ‘Batman,’ Black Adam ‘,’ The Flash ‘, the’ Elvis’ biopic and a whole host of other movies will literally be hitting HBO Max less than two months after the premiere. “It’s a really, really big change and I think people aren’t used to it, but I feel really good about it.”

“Two years of patrolling the streets like Batman (Robert Pattinson), instilling fear in the hearts of criminals, took Bruce Wayne to the shadow of Gotham City.
