Considered the Oscars of Fantasy, the Saturn Awards are an award organized by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films of the United States.
For this reason, it is a highly coveted award for those responsible for films and series of the aforementioned genres.
And the list of nominees for this year’s edition brings together several acclaimed titles, such as “Batman”, which is the favorite in the main categories for having accumulated no less than 12 nominations, including Best Picture.
The Matt Reeves-directed adaptation is up against DC’s “The Suicide Squad,” and recent Marvel movies, such as “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” and “Spider-Man: No Coming Home.”
Regarding films, it should be remembered that Marvel had more releases than DC between 2021 and 2022… Even so, “Batman” is the only one that appears in all categories related to cinema, surpassing Marvel.
